Abstract
Nonocclusive mesenteric infarction in the absence of organic vascular occlusion is a clinical problem of increasing incidence and surgical significance.
This clinical syndrome have been related to various underlying disease, and causes an unusual type of acute abdomen which is deceivable in etiology or diagnosis. If the treatment is delayed, it often has a fatal outcome. .
Recently author had successfully treated a case of nonocclusive mesenteric infarction by massive bowel resection.
